Healing Hand Athletics Inc. trains youth and adults in competitive Double Dutch and single jump rope. Guided by former World Champions right here in the Greater Hartford area, our athletes build elite athletic skills, discipline, and lifelong confidence.
Our core programs
From foundational jumping techniques to national tournament preparation, our structured programs welcome participants starting from first grade through adulthood. No prior experience is necessary to start your journey.
Youth foundation (grade 1+)
Designed for beginners and young athletes. We teach rhythm, coordination, footwork, and turning while establishing respectful communication and physical fitness in an encouraging setting.
Competitive travel team
Intensive training for regional, national, and international competitions. Athletes refine speed, freestyle routines, and synchronized teamwork under world champion coaches.
Adult fitness & training
High-energy cardio, conditioning, and classic Double Dutch technique tailored for adults seeking fitness, community, or competitive performance on the tournament floor.
More than just jumping rope
Our mission extends beyond the gym floor. We instill manners, accountability, respect for self and others, and the pursuit of higher education, trade school, or entrepreneurship.
World champion mentorship and leadership
Every season, team captain roles are awarded to athletes demonstrating exemplary leadership and character. Under the direct mentorship of former World Champions, participants learn dedication and mental resilience. Lifelong bonds are forged inside the ropes, creating a strong network of support that carries our athletes successfully into adulthood.
Practice schedule and season details
Our full competitive season follows the academic school calendar, running from September through June. Regular team practices take place twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. We keep program costs minimal to ensure accessibility for every family.
